You know how the green across from my house floods when it rains? Well seagulls were swimming in it today.
Consequently, I got to see what a baby seagull looks like.

We watched "Enemy at the Gates" in History on Thursday and Friday and Jude Law is such a babe. The best part was when we got to the awkward sex scene and Eric said "I'm just thinking about what would happen if the guy next to them woke up."
...because they were having sex surrounded by sleeping Russian soldiers...
Not exactly what I'd call a good time, but whatever floats your boat. The ending was so corny, though.

2:45 pm - From the police log this week...
|
Thursday, April 6
12:14 a.m. A loud screaming noise was reported of Woods Lane.
9:24 a.m. A complaint was made about a Dumpster in the crosswalk on High Street.
9:20 p.m. A youth on a minibike was reported on School Street.
Friday, April 7
1:44 p.m. A person was reported to be putting leaves in the road on Miniral Street.
Saturday, April 8
1:55 p.m. Animal Control was notified of a sick beaver on Argilla Road.
I love Ipswich. No comments about eggs this week, though.
On other news, Tara's coming up either tonight or tomorrow morning, and I'm leaving for Chicago on Sunday.
April break is way better than February break.

7:40 pm - Prom (ahhh!)
|
On Friday I mentioned to Ali and Ellen (and dog) that I didn't have anyone to go with to Prom and they started talking about date-bots, envisioning these robots you'd program to tell you that you'd look nice and everything. Ali: "Someone would go up to it and ask its name and it would say 'Bot-157'."
Oh my goodness.
It is making me a little crazy, though. It seems like everyone paired off weeks ago. Anyway. I need to think of a random someone to go with in the near future as to partake in this venture. Any ideas?
In other news, Clover was adopted from the shelter today.
It's sad, since I won't see her again, but it's great that she's got a home.
Now it's just me and Patrick.

Well there's others, but they really haven't gotten used to the shelter yet. We'll see.

I've been having this dream a lot lately where I'm riding my bicycle down a hill, not a steep hill, and I'm always trying to brake, but, no matter what I do, the brakes fail and I just continue rolling.

I just explained to my mom all the reasons involving why feta cheese is not an ionic compound. Trust me, don't think about it, it isn't.
And my block smells like weed. For the past three hours.
Maybe someone's burning a bonfire of weed...
This just in: Morganna got red glow-in-the-dark highlights. In addition to a reddish hair dye. Now the question is: will it glow red, or that yellowy-greenish color?
Oh, and my boss used the wrong form of your/you're. He blamed it on the computer...
